Test runs

How to read a work session, its status, and its result on the Test runs page.

The Test runs page lists your work sessions — each one a real testing journey against a project. Every row shows its title, the project it belongs to, its status, its result, and how much evidence it captured.

Status vs. result

These two are different on purpose:

  • Status describes where the session is in its lifecycle: queued, running, or complete.
  • Result describes the outcome once it is complete: passed, failed, or needs review.

A session can be complete with a result of failed — that is a successful test that correctly found a problem.

Reading a session

Open a session to see its stages (reproduce → test → capture → remediate → validate), the individual test cases, and links to the evidence captured at each step. See How a session works for what each stage means.

Why the page might look empty

If you have not run a session yet, the page shows an empty state with a next action rather than sample data. OSTaaS never shows fake runs — everything here reflects your real activity.
