How your identity, email, and connected sign-in providers work.

Your OSTaaS account is created the first time you sign in and is identified by the email your provider reports. You can belong to one or more workspaces with a different role in each.

Connected sign-in providers

You sign in through an identity provider rather than a password stored by OSTaaS. Supported providers are Google, Microsoft, GitHub, GitLab, and Atlassian. If your provider account uses the same verified email, signing in with any of them resolves to the same OSTaaS account.

Changing your email or name

Your display name and email come from your identity provider. Update them at the provider, then sign in again for OSTaaS to pick up the change.

Signing out

Signing out ends your session on this device only. It does not sign you out of your identity provider, and it never changes your workspaces or data.
