Getting started
Quickstart
Create your workspace, sign in, and understand the first screen you land on.
This guide takes you from zero to a working OSTaaS workspace.
1. Sign in
Open the sign-in page and choose an identity provider — Google, Microsoft, GitHub, GitLab, or Atlassian. OSTaaS never stores a password for social sign-in; your provider verifies who you are and returns you to OSTaaS.
The first time you sign in, OSTaaS creates:
- Your account, linked to the email your provider reports.
- A personal workspace, with you as the Owner.
If sign-in fails, see Fixing sign-in problems.
2. Land on your dashboard
After sign-in you arrive at your workspace dashboard. The top-right switcher shows which workspace you are in and your role in it. Everything you do — projects, test runs, evidence — belongs to the workspace shown here.
3. Understand your role
Your role controls what you can change:
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including workspace settings and billing. |
| Admin | Manage integrations, features, and members. |
| Member | Run tests and review evidence. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to results and evidence. |
4. Next steps
- Learn the testing journey.
- Configure workspace settings.
- Connect a ticketing or identity integration.
