Evidence

What evidence is, how redaction and approval work, and how to review captured proof.

Evidence is the captured proof from a work session: screenshots, logs, and recordings that show exactly what happened. It is what lets you trust a result instead of taking it on faith.

Redaction

Before any evidence is stored, sensitive regions are automatically redacted. Each evidence item carries a redaction status:

• Pending — captured, redaction not yet applied.
• Redacted — sensitive regions have been masked.
• Approved — a reviewer has confirmed the item is safe and accurate.

Only redacted or approved items are shown in shared or public contexts.

Reviewing evidence

Members and above can open an item, confirm the redaction is correct, and approve it. Approvals are recorded so there is a clear chain of who verified what. Viewers can see approved evidence but cannot change its status.

How this connects to results

A session's result is only as credible as its evidence. Certifications count how much of a session's evidence is approved when they compute readiness — see Certifications.
