Reset your password

Reset a forgotten password or change it from inside your account.

Forgot your password

1. On the sign-in page choose Forgot password.
2. Enter your account email.
3. Follow the secure link sent to that address to set a new password.

The link is single-use and expires. If it expires, request another.

Change a password you know

Open Profile → Security and update it there — no email round-trip needed.

If you sign in with a provider

If you only ever use Microsoft, Google, or a Git provider, you may not have a password at all. Reset your credentials with that provider instead, or set a password from the Security screen to add a second method.
